چکیده
This paper studies the partial differential equation describing charge distribution of an electrolyte in a porous medium. Realistic non-ideal effects are incorporated through mean spherical approximation (MSA) model which takes into account finite size ions and screening effects. The main novelty is consideration non-constant surface density on pore walls. Indeed, chemical equilibrium reaction considered boundary to represent dissociation ionizable sites solid thus given as non-linear function electrostatic potential. Even ideal case, resulting system new variant famous Poisson–Boltzmann equation, still has monotone structure under quantitative assumptions physical parameters. In MSA brings additional non-linearities break down system. We prove existence, sometimes uniqueness, solution. Some numerical experiments performed 2d compare this with that for constant charge.

Non-Monotone Stochastic Generalized Porous Media Equations∗
By using the Nash inequality and a monotonicity approximation argument, existence and uniqueness of strong solutions are proved for a class of non-monotone stochastic generalized porous media equations. Moreover, we prove for a large class of stochastic PDE that the solutions stay in the smaller L2-space provided the initial value does, so that some recent results in the literature are consider...
متن کاملSolutions for some non-linear fractional differential equations with boundary value problems
In recent years, X.J.Xu [1] has been proved some results on mixed monotone operators. Following the paper of X.J.Xu, we study the existence and uniqueness of the positive solutions for non-linear differential equations with boundary value problems.
متن کاملComparison of Binomial and Power Equations in Radial Non-Darcy Flows in Coarse Porous Media
Analysis of non-laminar flows in coarse alluvial beds has a wide range of applications in various civil engineering, oil and gas, and geology problems. Darcy equation is not valid to analyze transient and turbulent flows, so non-linear equations should be applied. Non-linear equations are classified into power and binomial equations. Binomial equation is more accurate in a wide range of velocit...

Nonlinear vibration problems and differential equation oscillations have crucial importance in all areas of science and engineering. These equations equip a significant mathematical model for dynamical systems. The accuracy o...

Boundary layer problems (Singular perturbation problems) more have been applied for ordinary differential equations. While this theory for partial differential equations have many applications in several fields of physics and engineering. Because of complexity of limit and boundary behavior of the solutions of partial differential equations these problems considered less than ordinary case. In ...
